Introduction

International Training in Digital Dentistry and Certification is a comprehensive one-year educational program of Association of Dental Digital Academies (ADDA) that aims to enhance competence and confidence in integrating digital technology in the various clinical disciplines that are integral components of dentistry. An international panel of trainers and renowned speakers will teach you the latest developments both in digital technology and clinical procedures and will guide you to incorporate the digital workflow in your day-to-day practice. Our goal is to train tomorrow’s dental leaders in digital dentistry, and we are confident that our educational programs will provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge for a rewarding professional career. The course is divided in 6 modules that are held in different locations, Spain, Czech Rep, Italy, and Germany, so participants will visit state of the art training facilities across Europe, having the opportunity to live a unique experience in an incomparable framework to exchange knowledge and to create a valuable professional network around the world. Additionally, every participant must present 2 clinical cases performed with digital technology in front of a jury and will be evaluated. A tutor will be assigned to support and to guide through the case presentation process. Upon successfully completion of the program, attendees will be awarded the Certification of Trainer in Digital Dentistry.

Message from the Speakers

Helping to dental professionals get the best knowledge, skills, inspiration, and certification in a field of digital dentistry, we have built the clinical education platform named ADDA thanks to the merger of four international dental academies, as CADDENTAL (Spain), KUNKELA Campus (Czech Republic), Dentsply Sirona Academy (Germany) and Molinari Aesthetic Dentistry (Italy). Our aim in providing this educational platform is simple - to help equip you with all the necessary skills to provide better, safer, faster care across all disciplines of digital dentistry. Together we offer state-of-the-art training facilities for dental professionals who seek a comprehensive variety of clinical and technical continuing education curriculums – modular qualification program, including hands-on trainings, live patient treatments and lectures. The multi-purpose education centers - academies includes live patient operatory broadcasting rooms, clinical training rooms for hands-on education, a chairside CAD/CAM milling rooms and laboratory milling rooms. We are looking forward to seeing you there.

Abstract

The topic of this course is dedicated to Digital Aesthetic Dentistry on the frontal teeth following the Chair-side process .

Planning a new smile we must reach two different objective connected with the clinical aspects and marketing.

The simulation of the final result directly on the patient’s mouth is fundamental, because thanks to the mock-up it is possible to evaluate the impact of our project not only on the frontal teeth but in to the whole patients face, evaluating, also the incisal guide the canine guides and eventually the vertical dimension changes.

The program always will take in consideration the need of the patient that we will treat in each course, it means that we will create the definitive treatment plan together considering all the aspect that could condition the final results not only from a clinical point of view but also from a psychological point of view.

During the course I will show you all the protocol step by step on a real case, from the study of the smile to cementation of the prosthetic devices on a patient.

Day 1: Photos / Video / Planning new Smile /Mock-up

Abstract

Digital technology is bringing a completely new panorama when dental treatment is considered. Procedures are simplified and much faster than ever before. Many phases of the treatments are guided and/or assisted in order to be accomplished with quality. It should be not forgotten that dentistry is an analogic business when it comes to the relationship with tooth structure and it will be mandatory to know basic principles and protocols to be applied in the different situations. Root to Crown protocols describe the different behavior in accordance to the residual structure and to the function required and, in addition to the analogic protocols, it includes the use of digital intraoral scanners for delivering of restorations in minimal amount of time offering ideal performance.
